What Makes a Good First Candidate
The best first candidate is an older conventional oil well in sound mechanical condition that still has oil the well can reach.
What we look at
- Whether the well has oil the reservoir can deliver to it
- Production history steady enough to set a reliable baseline
- Condition of the casing, tubing, and pump
- Where the well’s water comes from
- Temperature, salinity, and any past use of biocides or strong oxidants
